Successfully finished week three of the Biggest Winner and our teams first challenge, a 5 K run.
Okay, truth be told I walked half a lap, ran half a lap, walked half a lap, ran half a lap, you get the picture, but I did complete it and that is all that matters.
Finished it in 45 minutes, I know, I'm not the Road Runner (Beep, Beep!), I'm the tortoise! I kept chanting to myself, during the 5 K and constantly during my team work outs, "SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE."
As Tony(P90X Tony) Says, "Do your best, and forget the rest." And that is exactly what I am doing.
It has been a hard, but fun three weeks. I have only lost two pounds but my clothes are fitting better. In fact I had to go buy two new bras, my old ones began slipping off my shoulders all the time. It is kinda tacky, fighting my slipping bra straps during work outs! The weight loss will come with time.
My poor muscles have been really sore, I hobble around like an old woman most of the time.

I have eaten these pancakes for breakfast the last two mornings.
Cris, my trainer puts protein powder in them too.
Kent his brother follows the recipe.
I couldn't get past the idea of eating a pancake with only eggs and banana.
This is how I made them:
2 eggs
1 medium banana, mashed
2 T freshly ground wheat flour
1 T Chia seed
It makes three good sized pancakes, and has about 118 calories per pancake, they are really hearty.
Omit wheat flour and Chia and they only have around 150 calories for all three pancakes.
