Successfully finished week four of Chris and Kent's exercise program without injuring myself! Although I keep on having, what I think are muscle spasms in my back on the right side, ever since Chris's "conquer your fears" work out on Thursday. Something about having a fat girl jump from a weight bench, onto a pull up bar, then having me swing a few times and jump to the ground. My body didn't like it much, talk about jarring! Oh yes, I finally learned to use my knees as shock absorbs, but not before I almost rattled my teeth out a few times.
On the bright side, I haven't been as sore this week and I finally lost four pounds, it's about time! During the previous weeks my body must have been working overtime building muscle. I noticed I had lost inches, but I actually gained a pound(I know, I know, it was muscle, but it was still depressing). Tell you what's discouraging, it's when your team mates are losing six pounds a week and you stay the same or gain! Today's weigh in showed that their weight loss has slowed down a little and mine has finally kicked in, I'm afraid I won't be seeing any six pound losses but I'll take my four pound loss and be happy.

Wonderful, glorious glucosamine, this stuff has been a life saver! I have been drinking liquid amino acids at bedtime and popping multi-vitamins through out the day and glucosamine pills in the mornings. It wasn't till week three that I remembered to take the glucosamine and it helped with my stiffness and pain.
I was about to write that these are the amino acids I like, but that would be a lie. I don't like any of them, these are the ones I use though.
What I find interesting about amino acids is that when my body really needs them they don't taste too bad, but when my body is not in need of them I about can't gag then down.
They seem to do me the most noticeable good if I take them before bed.
