This is the half way mark of the Biggest Winner Contest. We celebrated by meeting together in the Hinkley Building on campus. Lynn Perks commended us for our hard work and gave a bit of a pep talk.
Each team brought a snack for a "Best Snack Under 150 Calories Contest". We brought enough to share with the entire group. Our team made a vegetable tray filled with broccoli, celery, carrots and sliced bell peppers. We also made Katie Allen's spicy cottage cheese dip. Thanks for sharing Katie! Unfortunately we didn't win the snack contest, the chocolate chip energy bars won. Our vegie tray couldn't compete with chocolate!
Here at the half way mark I haven't lost many pounds, only six, but I have lost inches and I feel a lot better.
In total I have lost and kept off twenty six pounds.
As much as I would like to take the weight off fast, I know making healthy life style changes and staying committed for the long haul is more important than loosing the weight quickly.
