Just so everyone knows, posting these horrible pictures of myself was hard for me to do! Really hard!

I was fully prepared to use a kick board in order to get through the 300 meter swimming part of the Tri, but I didn't have to.
Swimming was my weakest part of the Tri. I managed to swim all six laps without swallowing half the pool!

Here I am with my personal trainer, Cris. Him and Kelsie were there of course, keeping track of our times and urging us on.
Tristin and Steve hung back, while the three "wild children" kept me entertained and hydrated through the six mile biking part of the Tri.
Cammie, Luke and Grant actually stood in front of my bike and cheered while I peddled my guts out. It sure helped pass the time. I love my kids.

In this picture I had just finished the final part of the Try A Tri. It was a 1.5 mile run. I look like I'm about to drop, I was pooped!
I'm blaming lack of oxygen, on the fact that there were no pictures taken of my cheer section. Cammie was snapping pictures like crazy but only of me, the fat kid!

Here Cris and I are recording my finish time.
Don't fall off your seats, my finish time was one hour, two minutes and ten seconds. I expected it to take longer, so I'm pleased.
I had to look at my arm so I could tell the recorder my number.

This was a hard, but fun challenge. Stay tuned for the third challenge, Battleship!
