She has been spotted hauling a snow shovel to her swing set, to dig it out after a winter storm. And, has been known to brave hornets during the heat of summer. She got stung multiple times last summer because we could find the nest to save us!
Now Having worn out several swing sets, broken more chains and hardware than her dad and I want to remember, we have to, yet again, have a new swing set made for her.
And you know what? We wouldn't change her for the world!
Steve was afraid she might stop swinging if she went without a swing for to long, so he sent me on a mission to find a carpenter or welder who might have time to build a big swing set during the holidays. Turned out to be mission impossible.
She was without a swing for about a week. With each new day we could tell a breakdown was imminent. She was having swing withdraws!
Out of desperation Dad and big brother braved the cold and the horses, to hang one of the swings off of her broken set, from the only tree on the our property with a branch big enough.
