Jody took her to the hospital and stayed with her all day. The surgery seemed to take longer than anticipated, but she came out of it and the doctors said all went as planned. They were able to repair the valve in her heart rather than replace it.
She was a perfect candidate for this type of surgery and we all felt good about her having it.
The doctors think she should be able to have her hip replacement surgery a month after this heart surgery.
She is in good health and once these two things are fixed she should be good to go another one hundred thousand miles :).

Her and I did the Biggest Loser together at BYUI a few years ago. That is where we met.
She has been following this 17 Day diet and has lost a good amount of weight.
You eat all the vegetable and lean meat you want while limiting your fruit and dairy intake (the first 17 days) then you slowly add complex carbohydrates and dairy back in to your diet over the next couple 17 day cycles.
I thought I would do it too.
Dave Davis came over to tune and repair our piano. It has been moved several times but hasn't been tuned in years. Also two of the petals haven't been working either.
I was in the family room talking to Trish while Dave was tuning the piano in the living room. It took him a while. Then I heard the door close and the stinker had left without having me pay him.
I called Charlie (his wife) and told her what he had done. She said there was no charge.
What sweeties. I have good friends.
Last time I used butter and the cookies were really good. This time I decided to use margarine, less expensive but who knows what artificial toxins are in it.
